The Inspiration

Allama Shibli Nomani

Allama Shibli Nomani
4 June 1857 – 18 November 1914

Allama Shibli Nomani was an Islamic scholar, poet, philosopher, historian, educational thinker, author, orator, reformer and critic from the Indian subcontinent during the British Raj. He is regarded as the father of Urdu historiography.

Proficient in Arabic and Persian, Shibli was associated with two influential movements — the Aligarh and the Nadwa movements. He championed the integration of English and European sciences into the Islamic education system.

Shibli established the Darul Musannefin Shibli Academy in 1914 and founded Shibli National College in 1883. His masterwork Sirat al-Nabi, later completed by his disciple Sulaiman Nadvi, remains a landmark in Urdu Islamic literature.

When will the quiz examination happen?
Season 2 was successfully held in November 2024. Season 3 is planned for Late 2026 — the exact date has not been announced yet. Follow us on Instagram to be the first to know when registration opens.
Which class students can participate?
Students from Class 6th to 12th can participate in the quiz competition.
What will be the medium of the paper?
The exam will be based on English medium following the CBSE pattern.
Will it be online or offline?
It is a Pen-Paper (OMR) based offline examination held at 4–5 exam centres in Azamgarh, UP.
How do I register and participate?
Fill the registration form on this website and send the registration fee via UPI to the number provided on the registration page. After successful verification you will receive your admit card and exam centre details.
